With a Master of Science in Management and Leadership, I bring a strong academic foundation to my work. I am a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) through Royal Roads University and hold the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). These credentials reflect my commitment to excellence and ethical practice in leadership coaching.
With over 25 years of experience leading people in data and digital strategy, leadership development, change management, strategic consulting, and leadership coaching, I bring a deep understanding of what it takes to drive meaningful transformation. My career has spanned diverse sectors, where I’ve partnered with leaders at every level to help them unlock their potential.
My passion lies in empowering individuals to elevate their leadership impact through effective communication, emotional intelligence, and authentic influence—supporting them to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Where I Come From and What Shapes My Work
I was born in Nova Scotia and eventually made my way west to Alberta, where I built my career, raised my family, and stepped into leadership roles that challenged and shaped me. Over the years, whether I was leading teams, navigating complex organizational change, or coaching emerging talent, one truth stayed constant: transformation begins with people.
That understanding guided me through decades in energy, telecom, financial services, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem and ultimately inspired me to build a coaching practice rooted in trust, genuine connection, and the belief that everyone has the capacity to grow.
Why Focus Forward Exists
I’m driven by the idea of a future grounded in possibility. It’s what led me to leave corporate life and dedicate myself to partnering with individuals and teams through coaching, professional development, and leadership-focused work.
Leadership can feel lonely, heavy, or overwhelming. My role is to walk beside you—meeting you where you are, helping you uncover new perspectives, and co-creating solutions that are tangible, realistic, and aligned with your goals.

I love being outdoors—running, hiking, golfing, waterskiing—and spending time with friends and family. And when the day slows down, you’ll likely find me fireside with a great cup of coffee or a glass of red wine, ideally in good company.
